Basmati rice
soaked for half an hour

Instructions
Method 1- Using Raw rice
Heat oil/ ghee in a pan. Add green chilis, cumin seeds and fry for 2 minutes.
Wash and soak rice for half an hour. Drain and add to the pan.
Fry for 3-4 minutes till its slightly roasted.
Add salt, water, mix well and cook till it is done.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
Method 2- Cooked/ Leftover rice
Cook rice by adding some salt till it is almost done.
Heat oil/ ghee in a pan. Add green chilis, cumin seeds and fry for 2 minutes.
Add cooked rice to the pan and fry for 3-4 minutes till the rice absorbs all the flavors.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot as it is or with some curries or raita.
